GFS Strategy Refresh
The Global Food Security programme is updating and refreshing its strategy to reflect the changed landscape of the food and research systems. The new GFS strategy will draw on expertise from the Strategy Advisory Board, the Programme Coordination Group and the Science Advisory Group.

Foot-and-mouth disease vaccination strategy could help reduce food insecurity in eastern Africa
Research generated by scientists at University of Glasgow and The Pirbright Institute has shown that a targeted vaccination programme against foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) could alleviate poverty in eastern Africa.
Communicating the complexity of our food system
This project will aim to characterise the obstacles that hinder the effective communication of complex systems, identify strategies to overcome these and equip systems-thinkers with the tools to articulate the complexity of our food system to a broad range of stakeholders.
Science Advisory Group meeting 2018
On 30 April GFS held its second annual Science Advisory Group meeting in London.
