The Global Food Security programme has published a policy brief ahead of the 24th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP24), held in Katowice, Poland.
This report explores how UK landscapes can be managed to deliver multiple services, ranging from food production and climate control to biodiversity and recreation. It synthesises the current state of knowledge on multifunctional landscapes in the UK and provides a set of recommendations that can be used to inform future UK agricultural policy.

The UN recently stated that it finds ‘no credible pathway to 1.5C in place’ with current global commitments to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions.
